Scale
- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- 16 ounces no-sugar/light lemonade
- 8 ounces elderflower tonic water
- Sliced strawberries and fresh mint, for garnish
Instructions
- Thoroughly wash the strawberries and remove the stems. Place in a small pitcher or large measuring cup and use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently mash the strawberries to release their juices.
- Use a fine mesh sieve to strain the mashed strawberries, leaving behind the strawberry juice. If needed, use 1 cup of lemonade to help push the strawberry juice through the strainer.
- In a pitcher, combine the lemonade with the strained strawberry juice. Stir well to combine.
- Add ice to four 8-ounce glasses and divide the lemonade. Top each glass with the elderflower tonic water. Garnish with sliced strawberries and fresh mint leaves for a beautiful final touch. Enjoy your strawberry elderflower mocktail!
Notes
Frozen strawberries can be used if you don’t have access to fresh strawberries. Thaw before assembling the drink.
