If you’re looking to make a healthier version of Homemade Blue Cheese salad dressing, this recipe is for you. Nonfat Greek yogurt, fresh garlic, chives, lemon juice and blue cheese crumbles come together for a dressing that will make you wonder why you hadn’t been making your own healthier blue cheese before now.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice
  • 2 large garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • Fresh cracked pepper
  • Extra chives and blue cheese crumbles for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a small food processer and blend until ingredients are emulsified, about 30 seconds. Taste and adjust. Let sit in the refrigerator for one hour prior to serving.
