To make this easy Caprese Salad recipe, simply make a bed of greens on a small platter or serving tray, alternate layers of your tomatoes and mozzarella, drizzle with a high-quality extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze and top with fresh basil.   • 34 medium heirloom tomatoes, sliced
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 1 bunch fresh basil (1015 leaves)
  • Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling
  • Balsamic glaze or reduction, for drizzling
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. If your mozzarella is not pre-sliced, slice it to about ¼-inch per slice. Slice your tomatoes to an equal thickness.
